Business Rate Relief:

Businesses affected by the situation in Looe can apply for hardship relief from Cornwall Council.  They will need to evidence any reduction in trading which is due to the situation and the implications for their business.  The contact details are:

Businesses can also apply to the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) for a revaluation if their trade has been adversely affected.  Where access to an area is affected and businesses are experiencing a significant reduction in trade they should approach the VOA to enquire whether they qualify for a temporary reduction in their rateable value.  The contact details are:
